"Why Test for Reliability?"

by Dr. Kumar Upadhyayula


Dr. Kumar Upadhyayula is a Reliability Engineer at Cascade Engineering. His areas of expertise include product (system, sub-system and component) qualification using physics-of-failure methodologies. He has over 9 years of consumer electronics industry experience working on a wide variety of mobile, desktop and related electronic products and has published over 20 journal, conference papers and book chapter on related topics. In addition to a Masters and PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Kumar also has a Masters in Natural Medicine (Ayurveda), is a Washington State Licensed Massage Practitioner, has a black belt in Aikido (Japanese Martial Arts) and enjoys teaching Purna Yoga in Bellevue, WA.
